Thoughts on LA Food trucks?

One of the hottest businesses to emerge recently are providing locals in LA with their 2am after hours food fix. I’m talking about FOOD TRUCKS! While I must admit I was slightly hesitant to try it, seeing a parked food truck at lunch time on almost every major corner in LA sparked my curiosity. With a recommendation to give it the go ahead from a trusted source I found myself standing in line at a taco truck. So I guess it was a misconception on my part that food trucks served fast food? I kinda wished I kept walking by seeing the wait was taking longer than expected. I stuck it out and found myself pleasantly surprise. I think for next time though, I will save the food truck grub for after 2am.

The Cure for Cancer…

…Stop using carcinogenic products! No, seriously, though. Go GREEN ATTN: WOMEN this might be worth reading given we are the cosmetic industry’s number one consumer. The majority of our products contain harmful, carcinogenic parabens that can lead to breast cancer. Parabens are preservatives commonly used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Read: Makeup, Skincare, Shampoo, Hair products, and the like. Avoiding products containing this unhealthy preservative will not only benefit you but the environment too. One of the newest beauty trends that has evolved in the cosmetics industry are paraben-free products.

I’m going to be a character in a 3d video game that must remain anonymous for the time being! Today I got my entire head scanned for th CG animators to work their magic on me. I can’t wait to see the finished product. Back in the day when my brother and I played video games I would have never imagined myself being one of the characters! We would play Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, and Mortal Kombat (I was always Princess Peach and Sonia!). I promise to let you guys know more details as soon as I can. What an amazing opportunity!

I did a photo shoot for the Bike Casino and couldn’t be more excited to be on the CBS BILLBOARD in WEST LA. It is on SANTA MONICA BLVD. and WESTWOOD BLVD. to be exact. Kurt Kim did an amazing job photographing these images and I adore him and everyone at the Bike!!

The movie I finished filming today!! It is so hilarious! I had such a blast filming my scene in Hollywood. The tourists kept stopping to take pictures and stare while we filmed. I couldn’t have asked to work with a better team. Everyone from the Director to the lovely hair/makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist were such a joy! You guys will die laughing when you watch this movie! We have some great cameos throughout the film including Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, and Billy Baldwin. I’m a truly blessed to be apart of this project.

April/May Madness

Dear Friends,
The months of April and May have been so hectic yet so incredible! Many opportunities were presented to me. I feel so blessed! In April I booked two feature films. This past weekend I already shot one of the two. Everybody was so incredibly talented and amazing to work with. Also, I just received news this week that I booked a pilot in which I will be filming for next week. On Friday I was selected to shoot with world renowned celebrity photographers, Markus Klinko and Indrani. (http://www.markusklinko-indrani.com/) I was stylized by G.K. Reid (http://gkreid.com/) had a great team of hair and makeup artists at my side for that cold, windy, Malibu beach shoot. The images we took were Sports Illustrated theme for Smashbox studios. And can I just say they are going to be fierce! Maybe pushing the proverbial envelope a bit, but we could all use a little risk taking in our lives. 
What a whirlwind my life has become within just a couple of months. I realize I left out a lot of details in this update that you guys are dying to know about but I am only allowed to tell so much. Keep following and the details will be announced soon…
